Marcy Kok:
(Camp Director)
My name is Marcy Kok. I am a First grade teacher at Isom Elementary School in Lynden. I am married to Michael and we have two of the most beautiful children. Zoë is five years old and Malachi will be two in June. I have been involved with Camp Shiloh for all 15 years. The first two years I was more of a gopher for the Director, running errands and picking up supplies. Then I became a counselor and now I have become the Director.

Daniel Vander Kooi:
(Assistant Director)
Hey Guys!!! The first time I went to Camp Shiloh was as a camper in 5th grade. I have been at Camp Shiloh every year since. Shiloh is something that is very near and dear to my heart. It is my hope and prayer that all you have a chance to draw near to God while you are at Camp.
I am the Director of Youth Ministries at First Reformed Church in Lynden, WA and I coach baseball at Nooksack Valley High School each spring. My wife Erin is an amazing women who loves the Lord with all her heart. We both grew up in Lynden and met each other a few years ago and have been married since December 2004.
Growing up in Lynden I was blessed with Christian parents who loved the Lord and were a great influence on my life. When I was in Jr. High I really accepted Christ in my heart. Jesus is my life. Nothing in this life could amount to the joy that He brings. Christ is the one thing that will always remain the same. Everything in this life can disappoint you, and when it does, Christ will be there.

Leslie Roosma
(Program Director)
I’ve been involved with Camp Shiloh for 4 years. I was a counselor in 1995 and 1996, and took a few summers off while I went to college. I’ve been on the program staff for the past 2 years. I also serve on the Camp Shiloh Board. During the 50 weeks of the year that I’m not at Shiloh, I’m a 3rd grade teacher. I taught 5 years in Ontario, CA and came home to Lynden to teach 3rd grade at Lynden Christian. My favorite thing about Camp Shiloh is watching the kids grow. Seeing them completely focused on their God, oblivious to the people around them, is an amazing thing to see. These kids are such a blessing to me! And just in case anyone was curious, I LOVE Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Diet Cherry Coke, and clean camp rooms with creative themes. See you at camp!
